Who operates ReproPack

ReproPack is operated by the ReproPack developer. For privacy, billing, refund, or support questions, use the contact email listed on the Chrome Web Store listing or the billing contact provided with your purchase.

Information captured by the extension

When the user starts a capture on an active tab, the extension may record page metadata such as the page URL, title, viewport size, browser user agent, language, time zone, and device pixel ratio.

The extension may record interaction metadata needed for reproduction, including clicks, form submissions, route changes, and field interaction events. It does not intentionally record typed text or password values.

The extension may record console errors and warnings, failed or slow network request metadata, request method, sanitized URL path/query, status code, timing, and error messages. It does not intentionally capture request bodies, response bodies, cookies, authorization headers, or full page storage.

The extension may capture a visible screenshot of the current tab when generating a report. The screenshot may include whatever is visible on the page at that moment, so users should review reports before sharing them.

Local storage and sharing

Reports are saved in the user's browser storage on the local device. Free users can keep up to 20 local reports, and Pro users can keep up to 100 local reports.

ReproPack does not automatically upload captured reports, screenshots, console messages, network metadata, or interaction timelines to our servers. Reports leave the device only when the user copies Markdown, downloads a zip package, or otherwise shares exported content.

Users are responsible for reviewing and redacting reports before sending them to a team, support channel, issue tracker, or third party.

Redaction and sensitive data

The extension includes URL query parameter redaction for common sensitive keywords such as token, key, secret, password, session, auth, email, jwt, access_token, and refresh_token. Users can customize this list in settings.

No redaction system is perfect. If sensitive information appears visibly on the page, in a screenshot, in a console error, or in a URL pattern not covered by the configured keywords, it may appear in a report. Users should inspect reports before sharing.

Website, checkout, and license information

The ReproPack website collects the email address entered during checkout or billing portal access so we can issue a license, verify Pro access, and help with billing support.

Orders are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, payment processing, applicable tax calculation, invoicing/receipts, fraud prevention, and refund processing according to Paddle's own terms and privacy policy.

ReproPack does not receive or store full card numbers, CVC codes, bank account details, or complete payment method credentials.

The website stores license records needed to verify Pro access, including license key, email address, license status, plan, payment customer/transaction identifiers where applicable, and timestamps.

When the extension verifies a license, it sends the license key, product identifier, extension ID, and extension version to the ReproPack license API. The API returns whether the license is active and which plan applies.

Permissions and browser limitations

The extension uses Chrome permissions such as activeTab, scripting, storage, and downloads to capture the active tab after user action, save local reports, and download exported packages.

Some pages cannot be captured due to browser and Chrome extension platform restrictions, including Chrome internal pages, extension pages, Chrome Web Store pages, and some restricted or highly protected pages.

Data processors and service providers

ReproPack uses Vercel to host the website and API, Vercel Postgres to store license and billing linkage records, Paddle to process orders, taxes, invoices, payments, and refunds as Merchant of Record, GitHub for source control and deployment integration, and Chrome/Google infrastructure to distribute the extension through Chrome Web Store.

These providers process data as necessary to host the service, process payments, maintain security, prevent fraud, provide receipts, and operate the product.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

ReproPack's use of information received from Chrome extension APIs and Google/Chrome Web Store APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

ReproPack does not sell captured report data, does not use captured report data for personalized advertising, and does not transfer captured report data to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.

Retention

Local reports remain on the user's device until the user deletes them, clears browser storage, uninstalls the extension, or the local history limit removes older reports.

License, checkout, and billing linkage records are retained for as long as needed to provide Pro access, maintain purchase records, support refunds or disputes, comply with tax/accounting obligations, and prevent abuse.

Security

ReproPack uses HTTPS for website and license API communication. License keys should be kept private and should not be posted in public issue trackers or shared screenshots.

No online service can guarantee perfect security. If you believe a license key or report has been exposed, contact support so we can help evaluate the issue.

Children

ReproPack is intended for developers, testers, support teams, contractors, and business users. It is not directed to children.

Your choices

You can delete local reports from the extension history, clear the stored license from extension settings, and contact support for billing or license questions.

If you need deletion or correction of purchase/license records, contact support using the email listed on the Chrome Web Store page. Some billing records may need to be retained where required by law, tax rules, fraud prevention, or dispute handling.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ReproPack changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
